B – Breakfast, L – Lunch, D – Dinner

DAY 1 CASABLANCA

Welcome to Morocco. Upon landing and completing immigration formalities, collect your luggage and meet your dedicated representative at the airport’s main exit. You’ll be seamlessly transferred to your accommodation, where you can settle in at your own pace and rest after your journey, ready to embrace the magic of this enchanting destination.

This evening, our welcome dinner is set inside a beautifully restored, traditional Moroccan home (riad). It features a grand central patio, intricate archways, and a warm, candlelit ambiance that feels a world away from the busy city streets outside. Gourmet, elevated traditional Moroccan cuisine (tangia, exceptional couscous, and slow-cooked tagines), served with modern flair. It presents immersive cultural dining that is an authentic yet luxurious Moroccan experience.

D

DAY 2 CASABLANCA TO FES

Begin your exploration of Casablanca, a fascinating blend of modern Morocco and colonial heritage. Highlights include the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest mosques dramatically positioned above the Atlantic Ocean and one of the few mosques in Morocco open to non-Muslim visitors.

Continue with a stroll along the Corniche waterfront promenade, where you can have lunch at your own expense.

Depart Casablanca and journey eastward through Morocco’s verdant heartland on a scenic highway transfer to the enchanting imperial city of Fes. This leisurely drive traces a route steeped in history, winding through olive groves and traditional Berber villages as you venture deeper into the cultural soul of Morocco. Arrive in Fes, a UNESCO-listed medina where centuries-old riads, bustling souks, and artisanal workshops await discovery. Your transfer provides the perfect vantage point to witness the seamless transition from cosmopolitan coastal charm to the timeless mystique of Morocco’s ancient interior.

B

DAY 3 FES

Explore the UNESCO-listed medina of Fes, beginning at Borj Sud before visiting a pottery workshop to witness the traditional craft of zellige tile-making. Navigate the medina’s enchanting maze of streets, pass by the gates of the Royal Palace, and discover the heritage of the Jewish quarter. Marvel at the architectural splendour of the Bou Inania Madrasa and the exterior of the University of al-Qarawiyyin, wander past the legendary Chouara Tannery where artisans work leather using centuries-old methods, and admire the intricate Nejjarine Fountain. Throughout this immersive day, observe master craftspeople in their workshops, witnessing the timeless techniques that define Fes’s unparalleled artisanal heritage.

B

DAY 4 THE SANDY TENTS

Enjoy a day in the desert with a host of optional tours or just relax and soak up the sun or take a dip in the pool.

B, L, D

DAY 5 FES TO MERZOUGA

After breakfast, departure for Midelt through the mountains and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. Midelt is the Moroccan apple capital and was founded by the French protectorate in 1917 to make it an administrative center of the region.

Next stop: Erfoud. The city’s surroundings contain many fossils, which is why paleontologists are interested in the region, filled with remains of extinct animals (dinosaurs, ammonites, trilobites, and more).

Many of the museums where you can see these treasures are in Erfoud, and you can even take pictures with the skeletons of the dinosaurs and buy what you want.

Leave Erfoud for Merzouga. You will have stops to view the dunes before you arrive at your camp in the heart of the Sahara Desert.

Located in Merzouga, right at the foot of the massive golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, The Sandy Tents offers a high-end “glamping” experience where you don’t have to sacrifice comfort for adventure. It bridges the gap between a raw desert expedition and a boutique hotel stay.

The Tents: These aren’t sleeping bags on the ground. You stay in spacious, canvas-walled suites equipped with real beds, electricity, and—most importantly—private en-suite bathrooms with hot showers and flush toilets. Many also feature air-conditioning/heating, a rare luxury in the desert.

This evening, enjoy a traditional multi-course Moroccan dinner (tagines, fresh bread, soups) served by candlelight, followed by live local music around the fire.

B, D

DAY 6 MERZOUGA TO OUARZAZATE

Begin your day with sunrise over the Sahara before breakfast, then journey south through the legendary Dades Valley, where rose-colored kasbahs and ancient ksours punctuate the landscape as you travel toward Kelaa M’gouna. After lunch at your expense, continue to the magnificent Kasbah Taourirt, a 19th-century fortress that once anchored the power of the El Glaoui dynasty at a crucial crossroads of the historic caravan routes (outside visit).

Your afternoon concludes with an overnight stay at an authentic hotel with the heritage of Morocco’s desert gateway.

B

DAY 7 OUARZATE - AIT BEN HADDOU - MARRAKECH

After breakfast, step right into the breathtaking Kasbah Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and a masterpiece of Moroccan earthen architecture. Explore this iconic fortress’s labyrinthine streets and towering mud-brick walls, which have famously served as a backdrop for cinematic classics including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. Following your morning exploration, take a short 30-kilometer drive to visit the renowned Atlas Studios. Here, you will discover the craftsmanship behind Morocco’s thriving film industry and see the sets that brought legendary productions to life, including The Jewel of the NileThe Living DaylightsAladdin (2019), and The Mummy.

After lunch at your leisure, head north to traverse the dramatic Tizi N’Tichka pass en route to Marrakech.

B

DAY 8 MARRAKECH

After Breakfast, immerse yourself in the enchanting heart of Marrakech on this comprehensive guided journey through centuries of Moroccan splendour. Begin with the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, whose soaring minaret dominates the skyline, before discovering the exquisite architectural treasures of Dar Bacha and the magnificent Bahia Palace—a stunning showcase of intricate tilework, carved cedar, and serene courtyards. Wander through the medina’s labyrinthine passages to the revered Ben Youssef Madrasa, where Islamic scholarship once flourished, then surrender to the sensory magic of the bustling souks alive with artisans, spices, and centuries-old craftsmanship. Conclude your day at the legendary Jemaa el-Fnaa, where storytellers, musicians, and performers create an intoxicating atmosphere beneath the Moroccan sun—a living theatre that has captivated travellers for generations.

B

DAY 9 EXCURSION TO ESSAOUIRA

After breakfast, embark on a journey from Marrakech to the enchanting Atlantic coast of Essaouira. A scenic drive reveals Morocco’s iconic Argan trees. Enjoy a unique stop at an Argan oil cooperative to witness the extraction by hand. Arrive in Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for a refreshing “breath of fresh air.” Explore its charming blue-and-white medina, historic ramparts with ocean views, a lively fishing port, and indulge in exquisite fresh seafood. This journey offers the perfect blend of vibrant culture and tranquil coastal beauty. Back to Marrakech in the evening,

Val d’Argan Lunch and Wine tasting

Le Domaine du Val d’Argan is an organic vineyard located near Essaouira, founded by French winemaker Charles Melia and uniquely dedicated to Rhône Valley grape varieties. The visitor experience blends rustic charm with wine tourism, featuring guided cellar tours and a vineyard where camels are used instead of tractors to plow the fields.

The highlight is a relaxed, outdoor lunch at the on-site restaurant overlooking the estate, featuring Moroccan-Mediterranean dishes paired with the property’s organic wines (like La Gazelle de Mogador). Guests can also unwind by the estate’s swimming pool, making it a serene country escape.

Experience an enchanting evening at Jad Mahal, where culinary artistry meets captivating live performance. This distinguished restaurant offers an immersive dinner experience, blending exquisite cuisine with the mesmerizing atmosphere of an intimate show that transports you to a world of elegance and wonder.
