Day 1
May 2: USA/Cairo
We start our journey with a convenient flight from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to Washington Dulles Airport via United Airlines. In Dulles, the experience begins with our non-stop flight on Egypt Air, the National Airline of Egypt, which will welcome us and send us on our way in full Egyptian style.

Day 2
May. 3: A Warm Welcome to Cairo (Visit the Sakkara Pyramid)
Upon arrival in Cairo, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with a smooth, stress-free entry. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel for check-in and a refreshing breakfast. Afterward, enjoy a delightful lunch at one of Cairo’s most renowned restaurants before embarking on a guided tour. The highlight of the afternoon is a visit to the Step Pyramid of Sakkara—the world’s first freestanding large-scale stone monument and the oldest ancient Egyptian burial site. Following the tour, return to your hotel to relax. In the evening, join us for a festive Welcome Meet & Greet to kick off your journey. Overnight at the hotel to get ready for an early flight the next day!

Day 3
May 4: Cairo / Luxor
Pick up from your hotel, transfer to Cairo airport for a domestic flight to Luxor. Arrival, start your tour to visit the East bank of Luxor, which is the central part of Luxor township, centered on the twin foci of the Temple of Luxor and the Karnak Temples. starting with Karnak Temples, the second most visited site in Egypt and is believed to be the largest religious worship site in the world. Moving on to Luxor Temple, which was once connected to Karnak Temples through Luxor Dromos, an avenue of human-headed sphinxes. The temple was dedicated to the Theban triad Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Then transfer to our Nile Cruise, embarkation, lunch, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4
May 5: Luxor West Bank
Breakfast on board the cruise. Then, we will be on the move to Luxor’s West Bank. You will visit the Valley of the Kings, where you will explore royal tombs. Afterward, you will visit Queen Hatshepsut Temple, located beneath the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari, and on the Eastern side facing the Theban Mountain. Your next stop will be the great two statues, the Colossi of Memnon. Back to the cruise & overnight.

Day 5
May 6: Cruise
Sail through the Nile to Edfu & Kom Ombo. The cruise will set sail towards the city of Edfu, arrive at Edfu, where you will visit Horus, the Falcon God temple. Lunch on board, then sail to the city of Kom Ombo, where you will visit the double sanctuary temple of Kom Ombo, which is picturesquely situated on the riverbank. Your Egyptologist will share with you the story behind that temple being dedicated to two Gods: the crocodile representing God Sobek, as well as the Falcon representing God Haroeris. Then back to the cruise!

Day 6
May 7: Tour to Abu Simbel
Pick up from the Cruise, transfer to Abu Simbel by A/ C bus, arrival, visit the two famous temples of Ramses II and His Wife, Queen Nefertari, then lunch at Abu Simbel, back to Aswan, arrival, transfer to your cruise & overnight

Day 7
May 8: Nubian Village / fly to Cairo
Breakfast on board, disembarkation, and get the full Nubian experience from visiting the village, interacting with people, and learning the Nubian dialect. After your visit, transfer to Aswan airport for a domestic flight to Cairo, arrival, then transfer to your hotel. In the evening, Home hosted dinner with an Egyptian family

May. 9: Grand Egyptian Museum / Visit to the Pyramids
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll travel in comfort aboard a modern, private air-conditioned bus to the Grand Egyptian Museum—the largest archaeological museum in the world. There, you’ll walk through its impressive halls, home to some of Egypt’s most treasured artifacts. Following your visit, a special lunch at a restaurant offering stunning views of the pyramids makes this a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. After lunch, we’ll continue to the legendary Giza Plateau. You’ll explore the Great Pyramid area in complete privacy—away from the crowds—delving into the fascinating history and architectural marvels of the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Following this unique experience, we’ll visit the Valley Temple and the iconic Great Sphinx, with plenty of time to capture unforgettable photos in the serene, crowd-free setting, and dinner at a Nubian Restaurant.

May 10: Cairo’s Highlights.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and embark on a day tour that includes the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, lunch afterwards, visit Old Cairo ( Hanging church, Saint Sergius church). Dinner will be at an outdoor restaurant.

May 11: Farewell Egypt
Breakfast at the hotel, free leisure day, checkout, transfer to Cairo airport for your departure flight.

Payment Schedule: Not adhering to the payment schedule can result in late payment fees, cancellation without notice, and/or rate increases.

All prices are in US Dollars. Due to exchange rate changes, taxes, and other factors, we do not guarantee the amount of the final Tour Fee until the Full and Final Payment Date; prior to said date, we may increase the Tour price. Except as expressly stated in the Itinerary, you are solely responsible for any Tour-related costs that you incur.
Change/Cancellation: Notice of change/cancellation must be made in writing to Advantage International, LLC, and your cancellation date will be the date we actually receive your notice:

Cancellation:
- 33% of the package price is non-refundable if canceled on or before January 14, 2026
- 66% of the package price is non-refundable if canceled January 15 – March 17, 2026
- 100% of the package price is non-refundable if canceled on or after March 18, 2026, or if you are a no-show.
Your decision not to participate in the Tour due to State Department warnings, fear of travel, or the like will be deemed a cancellation. If a flight or another delay for any reason prevents you from joining the Tour on the Tour start date, you will be considered a no-show, and we cannot provide a full or partial refund or credit toward a future Tour, but you may join the Tour late if you wish.

What is included?
Package inclusions vary by trip and are spelled out on your invoice and/or itinerary. Most packages include air transportation, transfers, accommodations, tours, selected meals, and events.
What is not included?
Anything that is not mentioned on the invoice or itinerary is not included in the package. Standard items that are not included are as follows:
- Travelers insurance
- Passport fee processing
- Visa fee and processing, if required
- Items of a personal nature
- Gratuities, unless noted in inclusions
- Baggage handling above the set limits
- Airline baggage fees
- Individual ground transportation
- Meals and beverages not listed on the itinerary
Do I need any Vaccinations or Medications?
The requirement for any vaccinations or medications are based on the destination. See the What's Not Included in Your Package, section of the website for your trip for details. Always seek, and follow the advice of your individual medical professional for any medications and vaccinations.
How much money should I take?
While this is a personal choice and based on the destination, we recommend $50 to $100 per person, per day.
Are included tours mandatory? Or Is it mandatory to participate in all of the scheduled/included tours?
No, you do not have to tour with the group. The group package and itinerary are scheduled; however, if you do not want to participate in any land tour on any day, you may opt out. Any tours that you do not join are non-refundable and cannot be used as payment for or credit toward individual tours.
Can I extend my trip?
Yes, you can extend your trip. We will make a request on your behalf, and provide you a quote for the additional services will provided. All additional expenses are your responsibility.
If I do not have a roommate, will you provide one?
We have a “single willing to share” program for registered trip participants. Once you have registered as a single traveler with a deposit, we then put you in contact with other registered “single willing to share” trip participants so that you can explore the possibility of rooming together on the trip.
It’s up to you. If you choose to share a room with another registered trip participant, both of you must let us know.
Are gratuities included?
Gratuities for local tour guides and bus drivers are not included, unless specified on the itinerary. You may tip at your discretion.

What is the cancellation policy?
General Terms and Conditions are available here. Each group trip has its own payment schedule and cancellation policy. Please review the policy on the trips page. Please note funds cannot be applied to other trips and while name changes may be permitted, funds are non-transferable.
How much luggage can I take?
On our group tours, each person is allowed one carry-on bag and one checked bag. The baggage size and weight restrictions are set by the airline.
Once we arrive at a destination, we travel by motorcoach and your baggage must fit in the bus. In addition, we sometimes travel by domestic flights or train within a country and those carriers might have restrictions on baggage size or weight.
Do I need a passport?
All international trips require a passport. The validity of the passport will vary by destination. However, many destinations require a passport validity is 6 months beyond the date of departure from the country you are visiting.
