Upon our arrival to Paris with our visit to the Eiffel Tower with it’s wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. Locally nicknamed “La dame de fer”, it was constructed from 1887 to 1889 as the centerpiece of the 1889 World’s Fair.

Champagne, France, is a wine region northeast of Paris known for producing the world-famous sparkling wine of the same name, a product strictly regulated by appellation laws to ensure its origin and quality. The region boasts rolling hills of vineyards, historic cities such as Reims and Epernay, and vast underground cellars, making it a significant hub for wine tourism and cultural exploration.
